| The Book of Proverbs:
The
Proverbs are more than just cute sayings to hang on you wall. They
continue to call God's people to walk in wisdom. Like a father to a
son, this book shephards us through the practical issues of life,
teaching us to watch what we say and do so that we will not walk down
the path of the fool. These nuggets of wisdom teach us to guard our
lives very carefully. If history is any indicator, we sure do have a
lot to learn. |

| 7 Churches:
The
Book of Revelation is a prophetic vision given to the apostle John. It
gets its name from its purpose of revealing Jesus. In revealing himself
to his people, Jesus establishes the framework for our worship and our
repentance. In the process of making himself known, he also calls
others to hear what the Spirit says to the seven churches he addresses
specifically. Therefore, it is fitting we heed the words spoken by
Jesus to the churches as a call to pursue what is commended and forsake
what is condemned. |

| Submitted to Love:
Jesus
told us what is important: Love God, love people. Simple, right? Yet no
person is free from relationships that are always tainted and often
broken by sin. In practice, the simple is actually quite
difficult. |
